THERE will be celebratory drinks and food at Wood Street Food Hall tomorrow.
The Old Town store, which sells meat, fish and groceries, will be serving a lamb and mint spit roast and paella just outside the premises to mark a year in business.
The event is taking place from 10am to 5pm and there will be a raffle too.
Fishmonger Simon Rhodes, co-owner of Wood Street Food Hall, said: “It has been a really good first year. We have found there has been so much demand for good quality meat and fish which is different to what the supermarkets have to offer.”
There will be a 10 per cent discount when you spend £10 on produce for anyone who says the food hall’s slogan ‘eat fresh, eat local, eat quality’ at the till.
The store is also doing an early bird special for Christmas. If you order your Christmas meat in September or October the shop will give you a free trimmings pack.
