LAURA CLARK, 33, a beauty therapist at Wellbeing in Wood Street, Swindon, tells us about her life with food.

Do you cook a lot yourself? What is your failsafe dish?

I cook a lot for my daughter and I. My failsafe dish is cod with pesto and Mediterranean vegetables, perfect for summer!

Where do you like to eat out? How often?

I adore a curry or tapas! I love the pub called the Potting Shed in Crudwell. Normally once a week.

What do you always hope to find on a menu? For starter? Main course? Dessert?

Ooh I normally skip a starter but if it’s a curry I can’t resist the poppadoms! Main will often be fish of some sort and dessert, anything that involves chocolate!

Which foods did you hate as a child?

Liver and onions, gross!

Do you eat them now?

I’d give it a go but haven’t had it in at least 15 years!

What’s your favourite drink? Alcoholic and non-alcoholic.

Alcoholic is always an Italian red for summer, a good Pinot. Non alcoholic, water.

Marmite: yes or no?

Yes yes yes! I love it!

What’s your guilty pleasure when it comes to food... something you know you shouldn’t eat, but do anyway?

Without a doubt, chocolate!

You are on your own at home watching a film. What is your snack of choice?

Either dark chocolate melted to dip strawberries in or popcorn.

You are eating a bacon sandwich... ketchup, brown sauce or nothing at all?

Brown!
