BANDS including Florence + The Machine, the Chemical Brothers and Motorhead have been added to the bill for this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Other artists playing at the event, being held at Worthy Farm, between June 24 and 28, include Jamie T, Alt-J, Patti Smith, Super Furry Animals, Jungle, Suede, The Maccabees, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Goerge Ezra, The Vaccines, Alabama Shakes, Paloma Faith, Mark Ronson, Run The Jewels, Future Islands, The Fall, Pharrell Williams, Franz Ferdinand and Sparks, La Roux, Fat White Family and Kate Tempest.

Headliners performing on the festival’s Pyramid Stage will be the Foo Fighters and Kayne West with the act closing the festival yet to be announced.

On Thursday, coach and ticket packages will go on sale, with general resale tickets being sold on Sunday.

The Thursday resale will run from 6pm, while the general admission tickets will be available from 9am on Sunday.

General admission tickets cost £220 + £5 booking fee, per person. Secure delivery of general admission tickets is charged at £7.50 postage per order and are restricted to four tickets per transaction.
