New York rock band, Augustines, are co-headlining Dot to Dot festival this year with the Mystery Jets.

Augustines have just returned from Europe where they have been performing with Noel Gallagher. Next month they are releasing their third album, This Is Your Life, which was recorded in New York and Los Angeles. The band are the subject of a documentary which includes a live recording of a show at The Roundhouse in London. This summer they will be playing songs from the new album at various summer festivals kicking off with Dot to Dot in Bristol on Saturday, May 28.

Along with attracting top headliners, Dot to Dot has a reputation for uncovering new talent and in the past has given a step up the ladder to acts such as Ed Sheeran, Jake Bugg, Mumford and Sons, London Grammar, 1975 and James Bay.

Dot to Dot main stages will perform throughout the festival weekend in Manchester on Friday, May 27, Bristol on the Saturday and Nottingham on Sunday, May 29.

Newcomers this time include the NME Awards Best New Artist, Rat Boy, Cape Cub, the ambient electronic six-piece Phoria and the R 'n' B sounds of Night Beats.

The Bristol festival has performances in various venues throughout the day including O2 Academy Bristol, Phoenix Cafe, Stag and Hounds, The Fleece, The Louisiana, Thekla and many more.

The Mystery Jets will be singing tracks from their new album Curve Of The Earth mixed with their arsenal of hit songs. They are no strangers to Dot to Dot having headlined in 1010.
