New kid on the block Rob Felstead is set to tackle the complex character of Jack Point in a spring production of The Yeoman of The Guard.
Rob moved to Swindon to join the Research Council and is a huge Gilbert and Sullivan fan. While living in London he belonged to the New London Opera Group and has now joined Swindon’s Gilbert and Sullivan Society.
Another newcomer this year is Claudia Philp who joins the Soprano section of the chorus.
A prodigal actor returns to the society in the shape of Dan Donachy who plays Leonard Meryll.
Rehearsals are in full flow under producer Derek Hill. The Yeoman of the Guard runs from April 4 to 8, 2017 at the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon. For more details visit http://swindongilbertandsullivan.weebly.com/.
