THE Swindon Fringe Music Festival takes place at The Victoria in Old Town on Sunday and there will be something for everyone.

 

Sweet Nightingale bring together one guitar, two voices and beautiful harmonies, while Damon T & Mark Cole will entertain with foot-stomping, heavily rhythm-oriented slide guitar accompanied by soulful vocals.

Flame&Co are a British-Spanish duo of guitar and voice who impersonate the free, fluid spirit of flamenco.

Against the Grain creates an original blend of musical flavours from jazz tunes with spoons to original masterpieces on balafon, cajon and flamenco guitar.

Annette Gregory celebrates the work of Ella Fitzgerald, moving through the various song book albums that Ella created and to be become ‘The first lady of song’.

Terra 45 are a three-piece fun, original punk band from Swindon.

People Like Us are a unique and unorthodox act featuring keys, bass, electro-acoustic cajón, kick drum/percussion, 12-string acoustic, two lead female and two lead male voices along with superb 3/4 four part harmonies.

Plucking Different are a high-energy, alternative ukulele band performing an eclectic mix of feel-good songs that will have you dancing in the aisles and grinning from ear to ear.

Reel Time bring a melting pot of styles combining traditional Irish and Scottish tunes with American bluegrass rhythms to deliver foot-tapping tunes and memorable melodies.

And Spunking Octochoke are a two-bit spunk rock band... Apparently, you won’t know what’s hit you!
