Swindon Music Festival draws local artists from all genres of dance music together under one roof at Boston Brothers in Bridge Street this weekend.

On Bank Holiday Sunday from noon to 1am, Level 1 will sway with the sounds of house, techno, dance and bass from DJs Mr Nash, 2 Badd, Ciaran Boast, and many more. Well established DJ’s and up and coming talent will entertain, many are producers so there may be some hot exclusives.

Level 2 gets down and dirty with UK hip-hop, dubstep, breaks, jungle and drum and bass music from acts including DJ Snowy, Harry Mciver, Urban-Dynamikz and MCs Flames, Lady G and Verbal Destruction.

Lyricology features AJ, Baila, Joey D, Paul Farrow, Ruffy Rockaway among a host of top Swindon area rappers and singers. This will be an all round showcase of rapping, B-boying, dancing, Turntablism from live DJs, Graffiti and Beatboxing.

The Dance Showcase is led by Banksy, and has displays from Leebe and Soopa Jay both from Scarecrows, amongst other dance crews.

The Backyard is hosted by Playtime and has a free barbecue and music from R'n'B acts, hip-hop, garage, reggae, Afro beat, soul and urban mix featuring local stars such as MC Ranks, Jada Funk Paul Carroll, Terrorist Nuclear and the Platinum Gold Cru.

The Tribe will be adding their magical music twist in the Acoustic Corner, along with sets from Beni and Hibbz, Neville Lloyd and Shani Cherry performing nice melodies, catchy sing alongs and clever lyricism.
