TRIBUTE acts Genesis Connected and The Quo Experience will bring classic rock and pop from the ‘70s and ‘80s to Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre at the weekend.

Genesis Connected will play much-loved hits, such as Sledgehammer and Against All Odds, on Saturday night when they celebrate the music of Genesis, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel and Mike And The Mechanics.

Front man Pete Bultitude is reckoned to be a gifted drummer as well as a versatile vocalist – just like Phil Collins – so look out for the iconic double-drums element. Tickets are £20 with discounts available.

The sounds and style of Britain’s biggest singles chart band of all time, Status Quo, will be born again when The Quo Experience takes the stage on Sunday.

Shaun Michaels, as Francis Rossi, and Dave Crawte, as Rick Parfitt, have spent years studying the playing, moves and appearance of the legendary rock duo in order to give the performance an authentic feel. Tickets are £21.50-£23.50 with group discounts available.

Both shows begin at 7.30pm. To book, call 01793 524481 or visit swindontheatres.co.uk. - Sarah Singleton
