  • A CELEBRATION of the Carpenters, called We’ve Only Just Begun, takes place at the Wyvern Theatre on Tuesday at 7.30pm.

Every song in the show, which commemorates the spirit of singer Karen Carpenter, is a chart hit, performed by vocalist Toni Lee with her Big Band and singers. The show includes and audio-visual presentation, to help recreate the magic of one of the most well known voices in pop music history. Tickets are £25.50. www.swindontheatres.co.uk

  • Following a fast sell-out for his show at the Swindon Arts Centre, comedian Daliso Chaponda will also be performing at the Wyvern Theatre. A star of Britain’s Got Talent and Amanda Holden’s golden buzzer act, Chaponda is onstage at the Wyvern tonight.

Malawian-born Chaponda captured the nation’s hearts in Britain’s Got Talent and has also just been confirmed for his own Radio 4 series,entitled Daliso Chaponda: Citizen Of Nowhere. His show, What The African Said… is about recent news, old news, fake news, and stories that were almost news.

  • The TS Theatre Company presents family favourite Fame at the Swindon Arts Centre on Sunday, with performances at 1pm and 5pm.
