Strange Little Girl
Name: Strange Little Girl
Members: Rich Farr (vocals), Baz Brown (keys) and MartyD (drums)

SLG is a band that puts great music and entertainment top of the agenda. Dynamic rhythmic foundations; soaring and dramatic melodic hooks and edgy lyrics all backed up with the emphasis on show.

A cliché maybe, but it's undoubtedly true that an audience is unlikely to forget a SLG performance!

The three members are all experienced performers who write music that features a whole host of different influences.

SLG have been together for about four years and during that time have produced two recordings and played a variety of extremely well-received gigs. Much of the last year has been spent writing and developing even stronger material and the guys are now ready to share their new sounds with a much wider audience.

It is natural for people to want to pigeonhole music but it's certainly not easy where SLG is concerned. Yes, there is definitely a dancey-vibe to much of the band's work; yes, there are distinct 80s flavours running around the mix but ultimately if you are into music that makes you want to 'shake yer thang' and smile, then SLG could just be a fabulous place to start.

If we had to pin them down, you might want to think about Faithless meets Dead Can Dance or perhaps The Chemical Brothers play Marc Almond. Whatever, you'll need to check SLG out and then you can decide for yourselves.
