Name: The Unforeseen
Members: Justin Macreadie, Brendan Haze, Neil Thorn, various bass
Swindon’s Justin Creadie, Bren and Neil have worked for many years together writing songs in various bands and last year decided to hook up and create something different, The Unforeseen.
The band are an original rock band with each member having a special talent for what they do, and a wealth of new and undiscovered songs. The Unforeseen play a mix of acoustic songs, soft/heavy ballads, through original classic rock songs with powerful vocals, bass, drums and guitar work.
They have played in and around Swindon and built up a good following. They've had national radio play and been in and out of the local press. The band have opened for some big names at Riffs and played many charity gigs such as The Swindon Shuffle, a special fund raiser for old and young at the PPC centre and online fundraising events.
Ironically the band have had their fair share of life's knocks with singer Creed (a kick boxing instructor) recently recovering from kidney failure, dialysis treatment and operations between gigs. The band are still going strong while Creed recovers.
The Unforeseen are all about playing live and putting as much into every performance as possible and everyone enjoying themselves and the music. Many of the gigs have had three full sets in one night as people love the three styles: acoustic.unplugged, lighter rock, and the heavier rock songs.
The band believe in immersing themselves in the sounds and the people. Always striding to write the next favourite song and play the best gig the band have a belief in each other and what they do.
The Unforeseen’s influences are diverse! Bon Scott, Led Zepp, Beatles, Slash, Tom Petty, Dio, David Coverdale, Aerosmith, Kravitz, Newton Faulkner, Clapton, The Who, Pink Floyd, Sabbath, Pearl Jam, Sterophonics, Iron Maiden.
