A TREMENDOUS climax to five days of intensive playing at a very high overall standard was how Wednesday’s adjudicator Helen Deakin described the performances at the 107th Swindon Music Festival.

“This bodes very well indeed for the future of music in Swindon,” she said. “We heard some fabulous performances from nine to 18 year olds and were given a night to remember.”
