Tickets are now on sale for the spring concert of the Kentwood Show Choir, which opens with a dramatic section on the Phantom of the Opera, with some specially chosen masks.

The singers are backed by the Little Big Band, led by top West End musical director Paul Maguire and featuring Swindon’s own trombone ace, Ian Bateman.

The programme will be a mix of songs, from old favourites such as Hey Look Me Over to pop classics such as Skyfall and True Colours.

The choir led by founder and musical director Sheila Harrod are raising funds for their chosen charity Hope For Children at the concert in the Wyvern Theatre on May 20 from 7.30pm.

Hope for Children focuses on children living on the streets. The aim of the chrity it to enable vulnerable children to experience a positive childhood by improving their access to education and healthcare whilst empowering their families to support themselves.
The charity Started 25 years ago and last year helped more than 37,000 children throuh projects in: Ghana, India, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Africa, Asia and the UK.
