• The talents of Judy Garland and Liza Minnelli are back together again in a new musical show at the Wyvern Theatre on Sunday.

The performance, presented by Liverpool’s Royal Court, features the music and stories of two legendary performers, who were also mother and daughter. Set against a background of photographs and movie clips of the two women, the show includes lots of favourite hits, including Cabaret, Maybe This Time and The Man That Got Away.

Judy Garland was famous for her role as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, while her daughter Liza was acclaimed for her performance in cult classic Cabaret.

  • Come and watch the Great Big Dance Off at the Wyvern Theatre on Monday, at 3pm and again at 6.30pm. This is a national dance competition open to primary and secondary schools across England.

The exciting contest brings together children of all ages and abilities and encourages them to enjoy themselves. Each school can enter as many teams as they like, whatever their preferred style of dancing and level of experience. A bit of imagination, dedication and teamwork are all that is required.   • Tom Basden’s play Holes will be performed at Swindon Arts Centre on Tuesday.

It centres on the story of four survivors, stranded after a plane crash. This apocalyptic comedy, in which the survivors of a plane crash realise they may be all that’s left of the human race, was first performed in August 2013 at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. The crash has killed all but four of its passengers, the survivors are left stranded on a desert island. Gus, Marie and Ian are colleagues who were on their way to a conference, whilst the other is a lone teenage girl, Erin. Watch the play to find out what happens to the four survivors of flight BA043.
