Every day we are shuffling! Starting tomorrow 47 bands, across various venues, will be marking the fifth annual Swindon Shuffle.

The four day festival kicks off at The Vic in Old Town with The Vic Band opening the festivities and a line-up including the Graham Mack Band and The Wildtones. On Friday Old School Tie and Coach will be two of the bands strutting their stuff for the Holmes Music stage.

On Saturday The Vic will throw open its doors for the BBC Introducing Acoustic stage kicking off at noon with Doeza. The line-up includes a special appearance from Alice Offley in her new guise of Meow. Saturday evening sees Napoleon In Rags and Slagerij among others pulling in the crowds. At The Platform in Faringdon Road during the day on Saturday it is the turn of The Costellos, The Fixed and Guitar Stools and Cigarettes to entertain from noon to 6pm.

This year the festival is raising funds for the Swindon branch of the Goldenhar UK Support Group and the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.

Saturday also sees The Beehive in Prospect Place jump on board the Shuffle from 6pm with a blast from the past from Jacksauce, and Zebra Coat. It will also feature the up and coming Plastic Sound Co.

On Sunday there are two old favourites Kola Koca and Erin Bardwell Collective on the bill. The Ocelot stage at The Vic on Sunday from 6.30pm welcomes Hiproute, Black Sheep Apprentice, pictured, The Dacoits and Kova Me Bad. For more details visit www.swindonshuffle.co.uk.
