Tickets are now on sale for Fugative, the British white rapper who is a real contender in the rap world.
The rapper will be coming to Swindon for Easter and headlining at the MECA in Regent Circus as part of Captured night.
Fugative is just sweet 16 but he is already passionate about his music and determined to bring his colourful rhymes and twisted hooks to wider audiences.
He has already caught the eye of Kirk Burrows, music mogul who worked with Eminem and founded Bad Boy Records with P Diddy. Fugative, alias Harry Byart, has released his debut album, No Goin’ Home, which is a mix of grime, hip-hop and pop.
He said: “I’ve given up a lot to get here and this record is for the fans.’’ Captured is on Saturday April 14 from 7.30pm.
Joining Fugative on the night will be Encore who toured recently with N-Dubz and Chipmunk. Also on the bill is Saskilla, another name that is bubbling up to stardom this year beginning with his solo single Yonder.
Justin Britchford, director at MECA, said: “This is a great gig and is in line with our policy of programming shows for all age groups. We are planning hard to help parents to drop off and pick up safely from the areas car parks.’’ Tickets are £7.70 from 01793 495527.
