REVIEW NizlopiMake it happen FDM Records £12 Remember the JCB song? This album has so much more to say about the band than their Christmas novelty number one hit.

The CD kicks off with a timely springtime track, To be Spooling, which has a distinctly folky feel then we flip to a percussion-heavy, hip-hop number, Start Beginning, followed by the third song called I'm Alive Again which has a real gospel sound.

These guys wander happily from genre to genre proving their versatility with every song. Drop Your Guard is a jazzy ballad with some pretty guitar and The One is pure pop with a catchy chorus and spot on percussion work.

Some of their tracks have a political message such as Part of Me and others are more of a protest song such as Big Brother, again returning to the hip-hop rap style.

Showing their softer side in Love Is we have a gentle, softer song showcasing some crystal vocals from Luke Concannon.

Without You is my favourite, in of spite being a somewhat gruesome love song, it has strong imagery.

The album ends on a solid beat with a rap number called Lay Down rounding off an album which is folk meets rap with bite. - Flicky Harrison
