Stars including Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood are getting their teeth into a fundraising challenge as they are pictured filling their faces for a good cause.

Former Girls Aloud singer Nadine Coyle and Blue's Simon Webbe - a contestant on the new series of Strictly - have also posed with tasty treats ahead of the annual World's Biggest Coffee Morning, which takes place for Macmillan Cancer Support later this month.

The charity hopes to raise more than £20 million with around five million cups of coffee and 10 million slices of cake expected to be consumed on September 26.

Others seen enjoying cakes and buns for the charity's campaign include actresses Sammy Winward, Samia Ghadie and Jane Danson, plus actor Matthew Wolfenden.

Nadine, who is currently appearing onstage in Lord Of The Dance, said: "I love nothing more than getting together with friends for coffee and cake, so it really is the perfect way to raise money for such a brilliant cause.

"My uncle was looked after by the team at Macmillan when he was ill with cancer and my family will be forever indebted to the amazing service they provided during that difficult time."
