Taylor Swift has hit back after her Twitter and Instagram accounts were targeted by hackers threatening to leak nude snaps of the star.
The Shake It Off singer woke up to discover that she’d been targeted.
But she dismissed any threat to post nude snaps, writing on Twitter that she’d never taken any in the first place.
Taylor told her fans on Tumblr: “Well now I’m awake. My Twitter got hacked but don’t worry, Twitter is deleting the hacker tweets and locking my account until they can figure out how this happened and get me new passwords. Never a dull moment.”
“Now Instagram,” she wrote shortly afterwards. “This is going to be a long day.”
On Twitter, she thanked her friend for alerting her to the hack.
She also referenced her song Shake It Off, when she wrote:
According to E! News, undesirable pictures such as a man on a toilet and suggestions of who to follow were posted on Taylor’s Instagram and Twitter accounts by the hacker.
