THE master of the one liner, Jimeoin, will be sharing his observations on the absurdities of everyday life at the Wyvern Theatre on Sunday.

The comedian, who is acclaimed as one of the hottest stand-up comics around, will be reducing his audience to tears of laughter when he performs Yes, Yes, Whatever at 8pm.

Jimeoin has appeared on Live at the Apollo, The Royal Variety Performance, Channel 4’s Comedy Gala 2012, Best of Edinburgh Comedy Festival, Jason Manford’s Comedy Rocks and Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow.

English born, he was raised in Northern Ireland and rose to prominence in Australia in the early 1990s, where he had his own TV show. He still lives in Australia with his wife and children.

His 2006 and 2008 seasons at the Edinburgh Fringe smashed box-office records and were a huge hit with the public and critics alike.

His 2014 live show is a mixture of his signature observations and a look at the absurdities of life and how we live it.

A keen fisherman and golfer, his constant touring enables Jimeoin to check out and experience new outdoor adventures.

Never a man to sit still in his career for long, he is forever doing gigs. – Emma Dunn
