Extravaganza of music and comedy is in its 28th year

EVERY seat at the Wyvern Theatre will be filled when legendary show That’ll Be The Day takes to the stage.

Tickets for the performance in Swindon tomorow have sold out – but that’s not to say everyone will be sitting down the whole way through, though.

With a spectacular line-up of knock-out hits from the 1950s, 60s and 70s, it will be almost impossible not to want to start dancing in the aisles.

Prepare yourself for a party as the nation’s favourite rock ‘n’ roll variety show returns by popular demand.

Now in its 28th year of touring continuously in the UK and Europe, That’ll Be The Day is all about nostalgia and live entertainment, reflecting the music and tone of an era that changed the course of music history and youth culture forever.

The show was established on the cabaret circuit in the late 1980s and began playing regional theatres in the early 1990s.

Having delighted audiences throughout the UK for more than two decades, That’ll Be The Day is back on the road thrilling audiences with more hilarious comedy routines and classic gold hits from the 1950s, 60s and 70s.

Despite performing as many as 230 shows a year to capacity audiences across the UK, Trevor Payne, who created the show in 1987, still directs, produces and stars in the production today.

Trevor rewrites the material for the show for each tour and more than six months is taken in planning and preparation – culminating in a month of intensive rehearsals before the show once again takes to the road with its new offering every year.

That’ll Be The Day is renowned for its work with worthy causes, particularly BT Childline and most recently Help For Heroes.

The show has raised more than £150,000 for the charity so far.

The performance starts at 7.30pm. To see other tour dates or for more information visit www.thatllbetheday.com.
