FANS of 1970s music will be struck with night fever at the Wyvern Theatre next week.
Gimme Gimme Gimme Night Fever, which features the very best of Abba and the Bee Gees, will be in Swindon next Thursday.
The first half, which is performed by tribute act Bee Gees Fever, includes hits such as Night Fever and Tragedy, while the second half, starring Bootleg Abba, includes songs such as Mamma Mia and I Have a Dream.
Steve Wilson, who performs as Bjorn in Bootleg Abba, said: “You have got two live bands performing the best of both the Bee Gees and Abba in two separate concerts.
“It’s a great privilege to be able to play the songs. We put the songs over as people remember them. We do the music exactly as you would expect.”
Steve said it is a great feeling looking out at the crowd while they are on stage.
“We have grandparents bringing their grandchildren, which is great to see. It’s a smiling face audience and everybody has a good time, which makes us feel good,” he said.
“We can see them all singing along and dancing. It’s a very upbeat night. We’ve essentially picked on the upbeat party time 1970s songs from both of those artists.”
