FOLLOWING a sell-out run on Broadway, four and a half years in the West End and on tour, the worldwide sensation Stones in His Pockets will open at the Wyvern Theatre.

Ian McElhinney, the original director and a household name thanks to his role as Barristan Selmy in Game of Thrones, will be at the helm.

Seen by more two million people, it is an hilarious and moving tale of a quiet Irish community turned upside down by the arrival of a Hollywood movie shoot.

The two-hander stars Conor Delaney and Stephen Jones, who play 15 characters between them – from the two cheeky lads intent on stardom to a Hollywood goddess.

The comedy, by Irish writer Marie Jones, won two Olivier awards and was nominated for a Tony award following its Broadway transfer in 2001.

The performance is at 7.30pm on Monday, November 11. Tickets cost £21. To book call 01793 524481 or visit swindontheatres.co.uk.
