Wrong Shoes Theatre will soon be taking over Artsite’s Post Modern Art Gallery for a rites of spring production called The Gathering.

As part of the community project, the actors are looking for volunteers to help with set design and the building of the set during January and early February.

The Gathering, set during the Ides of February, is a festival of frivolity where the lost can find forgiveness, a chance to wash way secrets and through sacrifice be set free.

Following its success at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, Wrong Shoes Theatre, led by Luke Marquez, will perform the play from February 11 to 14.

Luke said: “The story is based on The Gathering, a festival shrouded in mystery and open only to those fortunate enough to receive an invitation. A group of strangers are given the chance to change their lives forever.”

The Gathering is suitable for those over 16 and begins at 8pm nightly with a matinee at 2pm on February 14. Tickets are £10 from ticketsource.co.uk/wrongshoes. Anyone willing to help with set design should email post@wromgshoes.co.uk or call 07971 23009.
