WONDER Woman, Batman, Robin and Spiderman will be among the performers taking to the stage during a dance spectacular this weekend.

The superheroes will be among the characters portrayed by some 230 performers during One Moment in Time, a production by the Wootton Bassett School of Dance, which runs at the Wyvern Theatre on Saturday and Sunday.

Vicky Lawrence, a teacher at the school, which is run by principal Kate Lawrence, said the youngsters were working hard to get ready for the show.

“One Moment in Time features lots of different sections, so there really is something for everyone,” she said.

“We always do it like that, so there is a summer section, a song and dance section, a Grease section, a Sound of Music section, lots.”

The finale would feature the song of the title name, as performed by Whitney Houston, she said.

“We always have our finale song,” she added. “It’s a variety show so it closes the performance.”

One Moment in Time is the school’s second show at the theatre and will feature three performances across the two days.

On Saturday, shows will take place at 2.30pm and 7.30pm, while on Sunday the show will get underway at 4pm.
