A tip-tapping time with friends and all that jazz is guaranteed at a weekly workshop at Swindon Dance.
The jazz class – which takes place on Tuesday mornings at the Regent Circus-based dance house – is part of Swindon Dance’s adult dance programme, and has been developed for people aged 16 and over.
Every week, people can head along to get a taste of the dance style and learn a few moves with the help of a dedicated professional teacher.
Emma Jones, education and development manager at Swindon Dance, said: “It’s a great, fun way to increase your fitness levels and it’s an opportunity for everyone to come and experience jazz and have a go at dancing.
“People can pay-as-they-go too, so if they can’t commit to a whole term they can just drop in.
“It’s also a very social occasion. People of all ages and both genders come along and it’s a great way to meet new people in a fun environment, especially if you’re new to the area.
“It’s really good if you are looking to increase your physical activity under the guidance of a professional dance instructor.”
Classes cost £6 a session or £4.50 for concessions, although incentives packages are also available.
