Swindon students will be having fun tackling the story of gangsters, gamblers, good girls and go-go dancers next week.
New College Performing Arts students will be presenting Guys & Dolls at the Phoenix Theatre, New College on Thursday and Friday next week.
Matthew Clift is directing the show, with Nicola Brown as musical director, Sam Prewett as choreographer and Christopher O’Brien creating the set and lighting design, with help from the students themselves.
The show is based on a story by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser. It is set in post Second World War New York.
The film version starred Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra and the musical has been a hit in Broadway and the West End.
Tickets are £6 and are available through the Wyvern Theatre at www.wyverntheatre.org.uk
