AFTER more than 50 years in show business, the Kentwood Show Choir is set to return to the Wyvern Theatre with a new musical extravaganza on Saturday.

From humble beginnings in 1964, Kentwood has gone on to become one of the country’s leading show choirs. The group has performed in Germany, Austria, California, Poland, Romania, Ireland and Spain. Through its concert programme, the choir has helped to raise more than £1m for local and national charities.

In recent years, members have showcased their talent at unique performances at Guildford Cathedral, Salisbury Cathedral and the Royal Albert Hall. They have also appeared in Songs of Praise. Expect enthralling music and arrangements to suit all tastes, each accompanied by Paul Maguire and his seven-piece Little Big Band at the choir’s annual concert this weekend.

The show will start at 7.30pm. Tickets are £14.To book, call the box office on 01793 524481 or visit swindontheatres.co.uk.
