This Halloween, Mr Nasty himself is coming to Swindon, to co-host this year's Swindon Screams2. John Altman, alias Nasty Nick Cotton from EastEnders, will be joining Luke Skywalker for a night of thrills, chills and shocks on Friday, October 30, from 7pm.

Tickets are on sale now for a family night out at Swindon's biggest Halloween party.

Luke says that he thought up the idea of Swindon Screams as Trick or Treating has become such a huge concern for some parents, so a trip to join in the spooky fun, in the safe environment of Grange Leisure Centre in Stratton St Margaret is the perfect answer for families.

Everyone is welcome to dress up and there will be a chance to meet Freddie Kruger from Nightmare on Elm Street or, if you dare, to sit in a real electric chair, that Luke had shipped all the way from America.

Magicians from the Magic Circle will give an enchanting performance and watch out for Tiny the Wampa and T-Rex prowling around.

Swindon's own songstress will enchant the crowd with some wicked tunes and there willl be face painting and tattoos for the young one, while Skywalker's Disco will get everyone up on the dance floor for a monster stomp.

Swindon's own singer/songwriter, Charlie Anne, will perform some songs and there will be a raffle and charity auction with some huge prizes.

Take a camera as there may be some surprise famous faces.

Tickets are £10, £5 for children, and £25 for family ticket , available from Holmes Music, Skywalkers Fancy Dress Shop or from www.skywalkers,co.uk/screams2. - Flicky Harrison
