THE only band to have toured with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, The Barron Knights, have many a showbiz story to tell.
One of the most entertaining groups to come out of the 60s, they have played more than 300 shows at the London Palladium, performed for the Royal family at Buckingham Palace, sold more than a million records worldwide and, fascinatingly, lay claim to introducing their former session pianist, Elton John, to The Beatles at Abbey Road Studios in 1967.
The comedy rock group, fronted by original guitarist Pete Langford, are set to send Swindon audiences rockin’ and rollin’ with laughter when they bring their hilarious parodies of hits such as Killer Queen, Windmills Of Your Mind and William Tell Overture to the Wyvern Theatre on Sunday.
The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £18.50. To book go to swindontheatres.co.uk or call the Ticket Office on 01793 524481.
