FUNNYMAN, amateur record-breaker and occasional disco dancer Patrick Monahan is back on tour with The Disco Years. The 70s have a special place in his heart. It is the decade when the Irish- Iranian comic moved to the UK and as disco was blaring from every shop stereo, radio and cassette player at the time, it is not that much of a stretch to presume he was conceived to or at the very least within earshot of Stayin’ Alive.

Monahan was the winner of the 2011 ITV1 series Show Me The Funny, which led to the release of his debut DVD Patrick Monahan Live. He won the www.Ents24.com ‘2015 Hardest Working Comedian of the Year Award’ for playing the highest number of venues in the UK.

He will be at the arts centre tonight at 8pm. Tickets are £13. To book call 01793 524481 or go to swindontheatres.co.uk.
