HE has endured more than his share of setbacks, tragedy and hardship. Now just weeks away from realising his dream of training at a prestigious performing art school, Sam Wearing will take audiences on his personal journey so far at his debut solo concert at the Arts Centre on Saturday.
The 22-year-old from Cheney Manor will perform specially-selected musical theatre classics and pop songs - all of which proved a lifeline as he dealt with the sudden death of his mother and an injury that nearly curtailed his ambition to work in the West End.
