Swindon playwright Peter Hynds is presenting his latest work, Four Sunsets, this month.

Peter, an actor himself, has written a comedy about four friends in search of a holiday paradise in Bali. He has based the characteristics of his protagonists on the four actors taking the leading roles. They are Ella Thomas, Laura James, Becci Smith and Jodie Potter, who all belong to T S Theatre.

Peter set up the company in 2011 with the aim of creating a fast turnover of productions, taking a dramatic idea and running with it, fast and furious, to keep the raw excitement of delivery. To date the theatre company has notched up 15 dramas including classics such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest at the Wyvern Theatre, and A Midsummer Night's Dream at the invitation of the Royal Shakespeare Company, performed in Stratford Upon Avon.

Four Sunsets follows a number of Peter's own plays performed by TS Theatre. Choice was his first, swiftly followed by #the order which went on national tour. A horror story came next with Game Play, which was a satire on the desire for celebrity status that abounds in society.

Now, Four Sunsets, a comic drama with heaps of humour and a dash of poignancy, appears at the Arts Centre on Saturday, September 17 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £11.50. To book go to swindontheatres.co.uk or call 01793 524481. - Flicky Harrison
