TAPE FACE, Christian name Sam Wills, is no run-of-the-mill comedian. He doesn’t tell jokes – in fact he doesn't say a word and goes round with gaffer tape slapped on his lips to make sure he doesn’t slip up.

The comic, who appeared on America’s Got Talent, conjures uproarious and bonkers tableaux using only the most everyday of objects and popular musical hits.

Tape Face is a character with universal appeal. Wry, many-layered and hysterical, Sam taps into the inner child in us all. Drawing on a heritage that includes silent film, magic, puppetry, Motown and the films of Patrick Swayze, Tape Face is a curious soul approaching every object and audience member as a potential friend – or plaything. Sam has totted up four sold-out UK tours, a smash hit run in London’s West End, and is fast becoming a phenomenon in America.

Tape Face comes to the Arts Centre on Wednesday 19. Tickets are £17.50. To book visit swindontheatres.co.uk or call 01793 524481.
