Swindon playwright Peter Hynds is back in the acting saddle with his latest production.

Evergreen is a two-hander love story based on the search for romance by Gina and Lawrence. The show, under the direction of Sarah Lewis, takes place at Shoebox Theatre, Theatre Square, Swindon on Saturday, November 26 from 8pm.

Performing opposite Peter is Becci Smith, a stalwart of TS Theatre Productions, which was set up by Peter in 2011.

Instead of sitting back and waiting for 'that call', Peter took matters in to his own hands and launched his own theatre company. His aim was to gather like minded actors and directors to collaborate on writing and producing a fast turnover of shows.

The ethos behind TS Productions was to pick up an idea and run with it as quickly as possible - the last show from the company was Four Sunsets, presented at Swindon's Arts Centre in September.

Peter's first play, Choice, was performed in his home town of Swindon, then London and Bristol and his second drama #the order went out on a national tour and is due to be adapted for film.

Tickets to see Evergreen are £10 from www.ticketsource.co.uk. Suitable for 18+ due to strong language and sexual references.
