THERE’S nothing wrong will a little bit of romance and who better than Jane Austen to make us swoon?
Shirking the done-to-death Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility, The Western Players will bring to the stage their fresh adaption of her classic novel, Mansfield Park.
The plot follows Fanny Price, who is sent by her impoverished family to live with her affluent cousins. Despite suffering many hardships as the poor relation, gentle and good natured Fanny becomes an indispensable member of the household and, eventually, gets her happy ending.
