THE CHINESE State Circus's posse of acrobats will leap onto the Wyvern stage tomorrow.

Thirty world class aerial artistes and jugglers will dazzle crowds with their gravity-defying feats, dexterity and signature blend of circus skills and Kung Fu stunts - inspired by the legendary Shaolin Warriors.

The Chinese State Circus was born in the 1990s after director Phillip Gandey witnessed a group of Chinese acrobats performing to great acclaim at the Monte Carlo Circus Festival. He was astounded at the depth and sheer diversity of such acrobatic troupes. He swiftly recruited performers, all trained in the Chinese tradition of Ma Xi. The circus has toured the UK since 1992, wowing spectators with its martial arts bend and musical interludes courtesy of a raft of singers from the Peking Opera. Back with more thrilling numbers this time around in Dynasty, the troupe will also treat audiences to old favourites with plate spinning and diabolo acts.

Packed with non-stop action and a spine-tingling finale, this is show with no gimmicks…no fakes…no retakes.

The Chinese State Circus will perform at the Wyvern Theatre at 7.30pm tomorrow. Tickets are £27.50 for adults and

£12.50 for children. To book visit swindontheatres.co.uk or call 01793 524481.
