FRESH from a sell-out run at Edinburgh, Rory Bremner is back with a glut of new impressions, obseravtions and jokes. But it's still all a work in progress, so bear with him as he attempts to make sense (and nonsense) of a world where Boris Johnson is Foreign Secretary, Donald Trump is President-elect, and Brexit means Brexit. We wish him the best of luck with that!
Seriously though, if anyone can do it it’s Rory, with his unique mix of impressions, satire and 25 years’ experience turning the pig’s ear of politics into the pig's other ear of comedy.
The comedian is perhaps best known for writing and starring in the political satire show Bremner, Bird and Fortune. He won back to back BAFTAs for Britain’s Top Comedy Performance in 1995 and 1996, together with three Royal Television Society and two British Comedy Awards.
The gig in sold out. For upcoming tour dates go to swindontheatres.co.uk.
