IF your children haven’t had their fill of nativities – or they didn’t get the feature role they were hoping for - there is still time to squeeze in one last trip to the manger before Christmas Day.

Today is their last chance to head to Roves Farm, join the animals in the Bethlehem Stable and star in a hands-on Nativity play. They will have a chance to dress up, get up close with the lambs and deliver the performance of a lifetime. There will also be plenty of games and festive craft activities to keep them busy outside of the manger. And if they haven’t done so already they’ll be able to pop into Santa’s Grotto and make sure everything is on track for Christmas Day.

On Christmas Eve, Christ Church will hold its annual Crib Service at 4pm. This is another opportunity for little ones to don costumes, re-enact the Christmas Story and enjoy a sing-song of their favourite carols. This should set the mood nicely for the big day.

Day tickets to Roves Farm are £8 for children under two, £12 for children between three and 16 and £7 for adults.
