The secrets behind not losing your mind will be the hot topic of debate at The Wyvern Theatre this spring when comedy heavyweight Ruby Wax brings her new show to town.

Following on from the sell-out success of her one woman show Sane New World, much loved comedian, author and campaigner Ruby Wax will bring her show Frazzled to the stage of The Wyvern Theatre later this year.

Her biggest tour to date, Ruby Wax will be at theatres from The Isle of Wight to Dundee, performing from until June 2017 having hit the road earlier this month. She will roll into Swindon with the promise of a sharp-paced show on Monday, May 15.

Described as being “outrageously witty, smart and accessible”, she is inviting theatre-goers to join her for an evening to explore a scientific solution to modern problems: mindfulness, based on her latest best-selling book, A Mindfulness Guide for the Frazzled. The ultimate guide to saner living: Ruby gives a tour of the mind – how to use it, not lose it.

Ruby Wax is a much loved US born comedy-actor-writer of incredibly successful books and TV shows including script editor of Absolutely Fabulous. She has a Master’s degree in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy from Oxford University.

Ruby said: “So far this year I’ve been working on the return of my show “Frazzled” following the publication of my book, A Mindfulness Guide for the Frazzled in paperback.

“I’ll present a fantastically entertaining show that will remain conversational, as well as being funny and insightful. This is your passport to saner living. I might not be sane myself but I do a pretty good imitation.”

The show begins at 7.30pm. Tickets costing between £21.50 and £23.50 are available from swindontheatres.co.uk or by calling 01793 524481.
