TALENTED impressionist Jon Culshaw will join legendary comedy producer Bill Dare for an evening entitled the Great British Take Off, at Swindon’s Wyvern Theatre on Monday.
Famous for BBC Radio 4’s popular show Dead Ringers, the twosome will present an unscripted evening of unrehearsed, spontaneous comedy and conversation as politicians, sports personalities and celebrities old and new are fair game for a roasting.
Beginning at 8pm, the show will give the audience a chance to help choose what characters appear and what direction the show will take.
Jon will reveal some secrets of mimicry as well as stories about the fascinating characters that coloured his childhood in Lancashire. Together with Bill, he will reveal some of the mishaps and mayhem of life behind the scenes in television and on the celebrity circuit.
The show is topical, satirical, anecdotal and highly entertaining – and never the same twice.
