SPRINKLE the fairy dust and set sail with your shipmates because you have only nine days left to see the Wyvern’s hit pantomime Peter Pan.

The popular panto has sold out many of its shows as families rush for tickets to see this colourful and engaging adaptation of JM Barrie’s classic children’s story about the boy who never grows up.

Starring Adam Woodyatt – Eastenders’ Ian Beale – as moustachioed villain Captain Hook, with panto newcomer Antony Lawrence putting in a tremendous performance as Smee, the production is a high-flying adventure with plenty of slapstick comedy, heart-warming songs and entertaining dance numbers.

Woodyatt relishes the role of the villain, inviting the traditional boos and hisses as he swaggers on stage in his over-the-top pirate regalia. Watch Wendy Darling and her brothers fly through the night to Neverland, welcome Nana the dog and watch out for a scary ticking crocodile as Peter and his Lost Boys battle with Hook and save the day.

With lots of talented young performers, colourful costumes and terrible jokes, Peter Pan has all the ingredients you expect from a festive pantomime.

The show runs till December 31 with two performances each day except Christmas Day. Ticket prices range between £21 and £31.50 though most shows are currently sold out. To check on returns, call 01793 524481 or visit swindontheatres.co.uk.
