WORKS of art by one of the town’s artists will soon be hanging on walls across the country.
Nine canvases by Nadine Gould, of Chiseldon, have been chosen by Creative Canvas to be sold at 32 shops across the UK.
Nadine, 34, who runs Imaginarium, based in Butterfly World Craft Village, in Wroughton, said she was pleased her work had been chosen.
“It is a massive step. I was cheeky and approached them because I saw they supported British artists,” she said.
“I emailed some pictures and they got straight back to me.”
“There is going to be a whole new series of work in addition to what I have already done.”
The canvases, which were created with acrylics, include a scene from Twilight, a butterfly, urban street kids, a girl with a teddy bear and a sunset.
“It’s nice because all the printed canvases have got a sticker with a photo of me on and my name. It is really nice to see that,” she said.
“I will be recognised as an artist and if anybody wants to look me up they can from that sticker.”
Nadine, who studied in Stratford-upon-Avon and Bangor, officially launched her collection on Saturday.
“The canvases are available from Inside Out in Havelock Square for £15 each.
