Review: Bradley Walsh at the Wyvern Theatre

THAT Bradley Walsh is a talented man.

Not only is he pretty good at telling jokes and acting, but as the curtain went up on his Wyvern Theatre show, the audience was greeted to the sight of a three-piece band and, as the star walked out on to the stage, he burst into song.

He wasn’t half bad. He may have been told throughout his career he wasn’t the right fit, but he can certainly carry a tune and he hasn’t done too badly on TV.

I’m not sure the same can be said about his dancing...but we only saw a snippet of that so I’ll reserve judgement for now.

The evening was full of laughs – from stories about waiting for a bus being the highlight of the day for Reading’s residents to the adventures of Bradley and his best mate Squeaky, better known as Joe Pasquale.

Throughout the show he exuded a cheeky but charming persona which endured him to everyone in the audience, young and old.
