VERY few comedians could turn the worst year of their life into a resounding success.

Fresh from winning the most popular series of Celebrity Big Brother by a landslide, Jim Davidson is back on the comedy circuit with No Further Action.

Candid about his arrest and the nightmare 12 months that followed, Jim will bare all in his latest tour, which will come to the Wyvern Theatre on Tuesday.

“It’s funny enough on its own,” he said. “You talk to people about it and they laugh because some of it is absurd. It’s what it’s about – to laugh at the absurd.”

But the crux of the show will revolve around his Big Brother victory – and the comedian will hold nothing back as he dishes out on the behind-the-scenes drama.

“It’s about the whole year: the arrest and Big Brother.

“Everybody wants to hear about Big Brother.

“And there is going to be some gossip. But I can’t say anything at all. I want to save it for the stage.

“I didn’t ever think I would go on Big Brother. I didn’t like the programme very much.

“When you win you tend to look back and think it was not so bad after all.”

As for his return to Swindon, where he has performed “hundreds of times”, he has only one thing to say: “It’s the place with the most ridiculous roundabout on earth.”

The performance will start at 7.30pm. Tickets cost between £21 and £24.50.
