IT will be party time again as legendary the rock ‘n’ roll variety show That’ll Be The Day returns to the Wyvern Theatre tomorrow.

Buddy Holly wrote the theme song that sums up the show back in the 1950s.

In its 29th year, the musical extravaganza will feature a rocking evening of knock-out hits from the 1950s, 60s and 70s, plus a hint of comedy to cap it all.

The first origins of That'll be The Day can be traced back to 1985, when a variety show called The Happy Days of Rock ‘n’ Roll was launched by Bristol-based agent John Mills.

In the 1990s, the production expanded on the ‘comic front’, blending music and gags.

Prepare for an unforgettable night of nostalgia, laughs and rock 'n' roll.

The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £24.50 and are still available on 01793 524 481 or at swindontheatres.co.uk
