Attack! Attack! are bringing punk-rock to The 12 Bar, Westcott Place, Swindon, on Thursday. The band features ex-members of Welsh bands Dopamine, Adequate Seven, Midasuno and Pete’s Sake. Attack! Attack! got together in 2007, and quickly made a big impression on the music scene, touring with Kids In Glass Houses, Goodbye, You Me At Six, Silverstein and Hundred Reasons as well as Lostprophets and Aiden. They also played the Reading and Leeds festivals, Slam Dunk festival and the SXSW festival in Texas. Attack! Attack! will be supported by Broken Daylight and Jeff Like Usual. GWYN ASHTON is playing his gutsy blues rock at The Rolleston, Commercial Road, Swindon tonight from 9pm. Last year Gwyn supported such names as BB King, Buddy Guy and played on the same bill as Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Whitesnake, Mick Fleetwood, Rory Gallagher, Van Morrison, Peter Green and Johnny Winter. He appeared at Popkomm in Berlin which was broadcast across Europe by ZDE television. The guitarist has two of his songs in movie soundtracks in France and Asia and has regularly appeared on both TV and radio. He was born in Wales in 1961 but emigrated to Australia in the 1960s.
