NERVOUS students taking exams were worried to see four fire engines outside New College this morning.
The fire brigade were called to a flood caused by a burst pipe in the college's arts department at around 6am.
But luckily none of today's A-level and AS-level exams were affected by the water.
Wiltshire Fire Service group manager Andrew Hargreaves said: "We used a squeegee to push the water into the lift shaft and then a sump pump to remove it."
New College spokeswoman Beth Lane said the tests would be going ahead as normal.
