Take precautions over increased burglaries in Swindon
Police have issued advice following an increase in burglaries, mainly in Abbey Meads, St Andrew’s Ridge and Greenmeadow.
Officers say householders can put in place some simple measures to reduce the chance of becoming a victim, such as closing and locking doors and windows when going out, keeping valuables out of view and not leaving door keys in hiding places such as under the doormat.
