Man wanted following indecent act in alleyway
WILTSHIRE Police are appealing for information from the public after a man was seen committing an indecent act in an alley in Swindon.
A woman who witnessed the incident, which happened close to flats in Tregantle Way, Covingham, near the Nythe Road shops, raised the alarm.
The man is described as white, between 18 and 25, of exceptionally slim build, 5ft 8ins tall with dark brown eyebrows.
He was wearing a black baseball cap with white piping round the peak, a black T-shirt with a white picture on it and black shorts or tracksuit bottoms which had been pulled down.
The incident happened at about 6pm on October18.
Sgt Aileen Conway, of the Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We take such incidents very seriously and are stepping up patrols in the area. We are keen to hear from anyone who can help us to identify this man.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact Wiltshire Police on 101 and ask for PC Mike Armishaw, who is a Response officer at Gablecross Police Station.
